'Fox And Friends' Hosts Respond To Ben Carson's Comments On A Muslim President (Video)

“Fox & Friends” defended Republican presidential candidate and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson on Sept. 21 over Carson’s recent comments that he “absolutely would not agree” with a Muslim serving as president of the United States (video below).

Carson was condemned by Islamic groups, Republican Sen. Lindsay Graham of South Carolina and the Anti-Defamation League, following his Islamophobic remarks, The Times of Israel reports.

Carson’s campaign spokesman Doug Watts stated on Sept. 20, “He just doesn’t believe the American people are ready for that,” according to RawStory.

“Fox & Friends” co-host Brian Kilmeade said on Sept 21:

“They were debating whether a Muslim should be a president back in the creation of our country. There’s a whole book written on it. Back when you had Jefferson and Madison debating other great American founders about should a Jewish person be president? Should a Muslim person be president?”
