Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton indicated that should she win the election, she’d be open to making first lady Michelle Obama a member of her cabinet.
In an exclusive interview with Extra on Monday, Clinton said she and Obama have talked about the matter.
“She’s made it pretty clear she wants to focus on important issues like girls’ education around the world … and I want to be the best partner I can be for whenever she wants to be involved in government again.”
We have seen what kind of partnership she is referring to, and at the end of the day, it all comes down to what Clinton can get for herself.
“I think she wants to take a break from it, but if she ever wants to do anything like that, I would be the number-one person,”Clinton said. “She’s been an exemplary first lady, and I know how hard that job is.”
Clinton proved just how out of touch she is with that remark, because there has been no first lady in recent history that has been more of a negative role role model than Obama.
Clinton added that she feels “close” to Obama and appreciated all the help she’s giving her, “because it’s hard.”
Unfortunately, we’re all painfully aware of just how hard things have been for Clinton recently. It’s painfully difficult keeping up with lie after lie.
Watch a segment of the video with Clinton below:
President Barack Obama said last week that his wife would not run for political office, adding that she doesn’t have the patience for it. That’s good news, but Barack Obama has been known to tell a few lies himself.
It would be no surprise to see Obama in Clinton’s cabinet because that’s exactly the kind of cronyism the Clintons employ.
One of the best things about this election is the thought of getting the Obamas and their brand of politics out of Washington. If Clinton intends to make Michelle Obama part of her cabinet, that’s another good reason not to vote for her next week.
