Just when she thought her life couldn’t get any worse, congress just hit Hillary Clinton with a MAJOR reality check. She needs to understand that she is not above the law and that many people want to see her in jail for her crimes. Many family lost loved ones because she was to busy to save the lives of the victims in Benghazi. This in not including the mass scandals that she and her family have been involved in. Her time is up and she needs to answer for what she done and what she has allowed to happen as Secretary of State.
While Chaffetz has stressed the importance of proper Congressional oversight, President-elect Trump has signaled that his administration would not make investigating Clinton a top White House priority, telling the New York Times that “It’s just not something that I feel strongly about.”
Despite the President-elect’s seemingly changing opinion on whether or not Hillary Clinton should be punished for over her private email server, Chaffetz made it clear that a “political election does not extinguish the need for transparency, truth, and justice. We want to get to the truth.”
Furthermore, the Republican congressman explained that Congress still does not have all the information available to properly conclude that its investigations into Clinton’s email server should end.
