More goriness from Dr. Sandra Lee, aka Dr. Pimple Popper. This one’s a doozy. This guy fell down during some kind of mud race. Over the next six months, a lump the size of a golf ball grew on his arm. It was a ginormous bloody cyst that needed to be excised. When the growth turned red, his sister insisted he pay a visit to Dr. Lee. As the doc probed the lump, she found it firm and movable under the skin. She used a scalpel to cut into the mass of puss which was hard and white within. She cut around the cyst to remove it from healthy tissue surrounding it. She then ran a needle and thread through the cyst, so she could pull it out of there. It’s graphic and stomach churning.
From the Daily Mail:
This is the gruesome moment a doctor slices into a golf ball-sized lump on a man’s arm and pulls out a bloody cyst that has become hardened.
The man had come to the doctor complaining of having a large bump on his arm for six months, after falling over and hitting his limb during a mud race.
When the growth turned red, his sister persuaded him to travel to California to have it removed by dermatologist Dr Sandra Lee, known as Dr Pimple Popper.
Dr Lee has shot to fame in the past year, as millions of people have started watching her YouTube channel of spot popping videos.
As the procedure continues and the doctor cuts away at the cyst, you can see it more and more clearly. White and covered in blood, it resembles an eyeball from a Halloween costume. Gross doesn’t begin to cover this. Dr. Lee yanks the ball out and puts it in a nearby dish. She deems it a calcified cyst. She jokes that the guy lost a couple of pounds over it, but that his arm is now back to normal. She then sterilizes the wound and stitches the guy back up. This woman has far more confront than I will ever have. ‘We have to name this bad boy,’ Dr. Lee says. ‘We shouldn’t name it after your sister right? Does she have an ex-boyfriend she doesn’t like?’ Heh. ‘We’ll call it Kyle,’ the man says. Lee says her ‘pimple porn’ serves a positive role by bringing dermatology to the masses and by encouraging people to look after their skin.
